Karli Rosen

Artist, Designer, Yogi

Karli was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Since a young age, she was intrigued by art, science, and languages. This combination ultimately led her to study Architecture at the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, before she transferred to Drexel University to finish her Bachelor Degree in Product Design and minor in Fine Art.

She has taken art classes offered at her school, her local art center, Moore College of Art and Design, the Florence University of the Arts, the University of Miami, on Semester At Sea and at Drexel University. In her classes she learned screen printing, ceramics, drawing, fashion drawing and design and photography skills. Throughout her art education she fell in love with color and believes art is a wonderful medium to express herself.

In her education she also enjoyed classes in biology, other cultures and  their languages. Her diverse interests  was a guiding force in her undergraduate studies. Initially leading her to study Architecture then Product Design and Art, to fuse her diverse interests.

Outside of the classroom she leads her own yoga classes at Hotbox Yoga. Where she completed her 200 hour training under Lindsay Lusignea and Brad Young. Her yoga practice greatly compliments her art and design practices in her adaptability, communication skills, community involvement, and ability to focus on the task at hand.
